STEFAN T. MIDFORD
President & CEO
As President and CEO of Natural Insight, Stefan Midford has over 30 years of experience in information technology, operations and workforce management. His extensive business background includes leadership roles at major credit, retail and marketing businesses in the U.S. and Canada, with assignments at Discover Financial Services, Sears Roebuck & Co., Sears Canada Inc. and prior to founding Natural Insight, as COO at Intersections Inc.
Mr. Midford's management experience gives him insight into the strategic challenges facing organizations with distributed workforces, as well as the specialized logistical issues that go with them. He is a member of the Institute for Global Work at Boston University, and a member of the NARMS International Associate Member Committee.
In addition Mr. Midford is an active proponent of the need for continued advancement of Science and Technology in schools, and works as a mentor for a Northern Virginia high school robotics team. He is an avid photographer and a member of Mindshare, an invitation only group of Washington DC area CEO's leading high growth technology companies.
Vice President, Engineering
As the Vice President of Technical Services, Mr. Pfleckl is responsible for software development, hosting infrastructure, and technical client support for the Natural Insight platform. Mr. Pfleckl is also responsible for all corporate Information Technology systems and has previously held the roles of Director of Web Services and Director of Technical Services within the organization.
With nearly two decades of experience, Mr. Pfleckl has participated in each phase of the System Development Life Cycle and has contributed to the successful implementations of both small-scale and enterprise-level Web sites and information systems. He formerly held the role of Webmaster at Orbital Sciences Corporation where he honed his user interface and software development skills. He then took on the role of Quality Assurance Manager for Advanced Solutions International becoming an expert in software quality assurance, configuration management, deployment and hosting. With the several director-level positions that followed, Mr. Pfleckl further solidified his role as a technical leader in the software industry. Today, Mr. Pfleckl's breadth of experience greatly supports the continued innovation and smooth running of Natural Insight.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Strayer University and an Associate degree in Photography from Northern Virginia Community College.
Vice President of Operations
As the Vice President of Operations, Mr. Sterrett has responsibility for all operations activities including product management, client relationships, and managing the client training, services and support delivery team. Prior to Natural Insight, Mr. Sterrett has lead operations and customer services for several leading edge technology ventures in the Manufacturing, Healthcare, and the Security Industries at companies like POMS (acquired by Honeywell in 1999), eko Systems (acquired by Merge Healthcare in 2008) and CheckVideo (acquired by Kastle in 2013). Prior to that, Mr. Sterrett honed his management skills and client focused mindset with 15 years at IBM providing industry specific consulting services in now what is called IBM Global Services. Mr. Sterrett earned both a Bachelor and a Masters of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Sun is responsible for all revenue growth and client retention at Natural Insight. Prior to joining Natural Insight, Jesse was the Vice President of Sales at Parature through its successful acquisition by Microsoft in 2014. Parature was an enterprise customer service software solution that helped organizations like The Leading Hotels of the World, Ask.com, and IBM reduce their overall costs to serve customers while increasing customer satisfaction. With over 12 years of sales experience, Jesse led sales, business development, channel partners, and account management for Parature, where his skill-sets and experience shifted to help Microsoft expand Parature’s software solution into new international markets throughout EMEA and APAC. Mr. Sun also served as an Advisor for Encore Alerts, which was acquired by Meltwater in 2016.
Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Business Foundations.
